Marmorino Wax

Marmorino Wax by Pisa Alta Decoration is a clear internal finishing wax designed to protect and enhance Pisa Venetian plaster and Marmorino lime stucco finishes. Supplied as a whitish paste that becomes clear when dry, it improves the washability of decorative plaster surfaces while maintaining a softer, more natural sheen than Pisa Stucco Wax.

Perfect for use on Pisa Venetian plasters and Marmorino finishes, this solvent-free wax creates a refined protective surface without over-glossing the finish. It can also be coloured with Pisa pigments, Toner Dyes or Universal Dyes to achieve decorative effects such as surface tinting, textured plaster effects and encaustic-style finishes.

Application on Marmorino Stucco: Apply with a brush or cloth, spreading evenly without leaving marks. Polishing is not required, although it can be polished after approximately 12 hours if desired.

Tinting: Can be coloured with Pisa Dyes/Toners or Universal Dyes up to 0.5% by weight.

Working Temperature: 7°C to 32°C for both the surface and the surrounding environment.

Washability: Achieved after approximately 7 days at 20°C and 55% relative humidity.

Coverage: 750ml covers approximately 24–26m² per coat, depending on surface roughness, flatness and absorption.

pH: 7 ± 0.5.

Density: 1 ± 0.05 g/cm³.

Packaging: 750ml tin, approximately 750g of product.

Shelf Life: Approximately 16 months unopened when stored between 5°C and 32°C. Avoid frost and high temperatures.

Cleaning of Tools: Water and soap.

Precautions: Always read the label before use. Apply in well-ventilated areas. Ensure surfaces are dry, firm, well-adhered and free from salts, mould, algae, grease, soot and other contaminants before application.
